Lisa Poundstone – January 2012

Lisa Poundstone, PhD, is the Owner of Design Smart Home Staging & Redesign.  She is an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP®) and was personally trained and mentored by Barb Schwarz, the creator of the home staging concept.  Lisa brings her passion for organization and aesthetic beauty to all of her staging, color and design projects, whether it is for Staging to Sell or Staging to Live. Lisa’s goal is to work with homeowners and real estate brokers to sell the home as quickly as possible.  Design Smart provides staging for both occupied and vacant homes and can do as little or as much as you like.  Professional memberships include National Association of Realtors®, Thurston County Board of Realtors®, Women’s Council of Realtors®, Multiple Listing Sales Association, Yelm Real Estate Network, International Association of Home Staging Professionals, Business Network International, Olympia Master Builders, and Lacey Chamber of Commerce.  Other notable achievements and activities include “Member of the Year for 2010,” “Entrepreneur of the Year for 2010,” art auction committee and summer mixer committee for WCR; holiday party committee member for MLSA; two-year committee member of OMB’s Tour of Homes; two-year webmaster and quarterly mixer chair for Yelm Real Estate Network; two-year education coordinator and “2010 Member of the Year” award for BNI; sponsor, contributor of donations and participant at TCRA events including Hill Day, Wreath Auction, Golf Tournament, RPAC Fundraiser, Homeless Census, Community Service Day, Young Professional Network.
