May 2024 President’s Message

tracie

Dear Valued Members,

As we transition into May, a time for blooming flowers and warmer weather, I hope you had the opportunity during Fair Housing month in April to participate in activities that raised awareness of Fair Housing and took advantage of the educational sessions offered by TCRA and WA REALTORS®. We understand that fair housing is crucial for ensuring everyone has access to safe, affordable, and discrimination-free living environments.

I'm thrilled to announce one of my favorite events this month: TCRA's Community Service Day on May 16th. We’ll be working at multiple locations, including Mima Cemetery, HomeFirst sites, Rebuilding Together, and a First Responder location. It's a fantastic chance for REALTORS® to join forces and make a positive impact on our community. After the projects are complete, we'll be hosting a lunch at the TCRA office. Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with fellow REALTORS® and give back. Register now!

I also want to express our gratitude to our sponsors who not only join us at events and planning sessions but also support us through generous monetary contributions. Their support allows us to host a variety of events throughout the year. Please check our events calendar for more opportunities to get involved and network with other members.

Speaking of upcoming events, mark your calendar for our General Membership Meeting on June 14th. This time, we're trying something new: a morning meeting with breakfast at the Lacey Community Center. We’ll be hearing from Nathan Gorton from Washington REALTORS®, so it's sure to be an insightful event. Your feedback on this new timing and venue will be valuable as we plan future events, so be sure to join us. You can register today on the TCRA website.

Thank you for your ongoing commitment to our association and the real estate industry. I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and working with you to strengthen our community. If you have any questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Wishing you a successful and rewarding season ahead.

Warm regards,

Tracie Choate
