Member Services Coordinator-Temporary

Part time, up to 30 hours/week $19-$22/hr.

Job Summary

We are searching for a Member Services Coordinator to help us out through the busy fall/winter dues cycle. In this position, you will serve as a liaison between our members and the Association Executive. This means that you will process new membership applications, take payments, handle complaints & requests from current members, track code of ethics & new member orientation training, and assist with scheduling and execution of continuing education classes.

Our ideal applicant has experience with databases, is comfortable with remote meeting technology, and strong customer service skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process member applications, transfers, and drops
  • Create classes & events in database
  • Monitor and process continuing education classes
  • Resolve member complaints
  • Process payments
  • Register members for events and classes
  • Schedule events and maintain organization calendar
  • Code of Ethics and Member Orientation tracking
  • Manage room rentals

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Good phone etiquette
  • Data entry skills
  • Competency in working with MS Office and technology
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
  • Other duties as assigned
