Thurston County REALTORS® Association

Our communities in Thurston County have a rich quality of life with beautiful natural surroundings. Mt Rainier is a backdrop for many landscapes. Sunsets over the Puget Sound are common but never commonplace.
We’re the seat of the state government which provides a broad range of good jobs; our economy is growing with even more job options; we have great schools, well-preserved parks and walking trails.
Our wonderful Quality of Life is why people want to call this home. That’s why we are growing rapidly. We must prepare for that growth. It is important that we plan wisely in order to protect our Quality of Life. Home prices in the county have increased more than 50% in the last five years. Home buyers are often frustrated by the price of a new home, especially those buyers we know who are just starting out…often our own children.
Thurston County REALTORS® are working with state and community leaders to plan for more affordable home choices. There are many housing solutions…ones that protect our environment and Quality of Life.
